Jake Copass, Cowboy Poet
(Apr 18, 1920 - Jun 8. 2006)

Author, Poet, Quintessential Cowboy, Woolgatherer, Natural Wit, Head Wrangler, Texas Cowboy, and a down-right nice guy.

Jake passed away June 8, 2006 and has been a treasure in the Valley that will be missed. One of his most memorable poetic quotes: "We find a thorn with every rose, but ain't the roses sweet."
