Curator to speak about Nature Printing

Los Olivos ~ Dr. F. G. Hochberg, curator of invertebrate zoology at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and a national authority on nature printing, will present a free tour of the current exhibition at the Wildling Art Museum, “In Touch with Nature: The Art of
Nature Printing in America,” on Saturday, March 5 at 11 a.m.
Dr. Hochberg, who was the guest curator for the Wildling’s exhibition, will speak about the history of nature printing and explain the various techniques used by the two dozen fine and decorative artists included in the exhibition which closes March 13.
On March 8, Dr. Hochberg will present a day-long class, which includes a workshop on nature printing, under the auspices of Allan Hancock College. For more information on both programs, call 688-1082.
