The Wildling Art Museum in Los Olivos is offering a four-session non-credit course, “A Short History of American Landscape Painting: From Sea to Shining Sea,” under the auspices of Allan Hancock College, beginning February 9.

This slide-illustrated course will be taught by Penny Knowles, Executive Director of the Wildling Art Museum, and will cover the history of American landscape painting from Thomas Cole to Georgia O’Keeffe.

The class will meet the second and fourth Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11 a.m. at the Santa Ynez Valley Grange Hall in Los Olivos. Students can register at the first class meeting on February 9. For more information, call Allan Hancock College, 1-866 DIAL AHC, ext 3209.
